IQF Fig Information and Supply

Uren can provide individually quick frozen (IQF) fig packed and delivered either direct or into cold stores for service deliveries. We supply IQF fig in a variety of sizes and cuts to suit manufacturing and food service needs, including:

Our IQF figs offer all the delicious sweet taste, soft, chewy texture, colour, aroma and nutritional profile of fresh figs but with the convenience and longer shelf life of a frozen product. Fresh figs are incredibly delicate and perishable, so IQF figs are an incredibly cost-effective alternative for manufacturers buying on a large scale.

Process:

Our figs is harvested at optimum ripeness to ensure the best quality taste. The new crop season is available from August. Once picked the figs are taken to be washed and thoroughly checked for defects. They are then cut to size and rapidly quick frozen at incredibly low temperatures to ensure maximum freshness and a free-flowing product. They are then packaged ready to be sent out for delivery.
