Uren is delighted to announce it has recently opened its own trading office in Serbia. After over 40 years of involvement in Serbia, developing strong business relationships, we felt it made sense to have our own base in the country. Uren D.0.0, based in Sabac, will be managed by Voja Zikic and Dragan Petrovic. Sabac, situated in the Macva region of north-western Serbia, is the ideal place for the Uren’s Serbian office. Well-known for its agriculture, it is one of the prime growing regions for fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries and is one of the areas we source a number of our IQF fruits from.
Voja has worked with us for over 20 years, representing Uren’s interests in Serbia since 1999, organising purchasing, quality control and implementation and logistics. He is joined by Dragan who has been actively involved in the Serbian fruit industry since 2007, at one time he was even Managing Director of the largest fruit exportation company in Serbia. Both bring a wealth of experience and many valuable contacts to this new venture which we are sure will bring many benefits to our customers worldwide. They make a strong team and are both well-positioned to oversee Uren’s involvement in Serbia, ensuring we are sourcing the highest quality products for our customers and providing the best quality service. They will be supported by Uren’s network of offices throughout the world, including our sales team here in the UK.
